GOT QUESTIONS?
We have answers (some anyway).
1. What ages are your programs for?
Primarily K-5 children usually ranging from 5-10 years old. We will accept pre-K children but we ask that ALL kids who attend are able to follow instructions and are able to participate in movement based activities.
2. Will there be any "rough games"?
In any movement style games being played with others there is always the chance that falls can happen, there will be contact with moving objects such as balls, and contact with others are to be expected. However, we make every attempt at providing a safe play area. We do not participate in tackle football or any other full contact sports.
3. Do you plan on having extended hours/additional days added to your schedule?
If demand for classes rise, we absolutely want to expand our days and hours that we operate!
4. Are there discounts for two or more children from the same family?
Yes, we do offer sibling discounts. Please look at our sign up page for current pricing.
5. What happens in inclement weather?
If the city of Sioux Falls issues a non travel advisory, or the Sioux Falls school district cancels classes we will not be open. We will always reach out via text, email, and social media for any unexpected closures and will schedule an alternate date on our website.
6. What if my child gets sick or an unexpected emergency happens and our child can't make a session?
We are happy to substitute another date to make up the session. Unfortunately we do not refund any unused portion but will provide an alternate date, subject to availability, to make up for the missed class.
7. Are parents required to be at the sessions?
No. However, we feel the parents are the best judges as to whether they feel their child is responsible/old enough to have parents not in attendance. When classes end, we can not be responsible for unattended children.
8. Can we bring food to the sessions?
Food is not permitted on the playing area itself. Water bottles with an appropriate closure are permitted.
9. What if our child wants to end the session early and becomes tired or cranky?
We do our best to have every child feel included and welcome. That is one of the strongest values we believe in. However, we understand children due to various reasons can become tired at the end of a long day or become distracted easily. After several attempts of encouraging your child to join in, if it becomes evident that the child does not want to participate, we can either have you take your child with you or they may stay on the field and we will continue play as usual.
10. Is there any special clothing and/or equipment we must provide or bring?
No. In fact, the facility requests no cleated type footwear and we suggest normal gym attire such as t-shirt, shorts/sweatpants and normal athletic footwear.
11. Are there waivers we must sign?
Yes. As in any sport or gym type play there is always the possibility of injury. We ask you to sign a waiver to allow your child to play with the understanding that slips, falls, contact with moving balls, etc. can result in an injury.
12. Other than the exception listed above, will you have any other closures?
While extremely rare, due to each class needing an instructor we do reserve the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or family emergencies. Our top priority is the safety of everyone and want to provide a good experience for both customers and employees. We will always be reaching out via text, email, and social media of any unexpected closures and will promptly schedule an alternate date on our website.
13. Do your multi sessions always start during the first week of the month?
While we generally plan on that being the usual starting week, due to certain holidays and school calendars we may adjust the 4 week schedule. Please refer to our calendar for exact dates and starting times.
14. If I purchase a single session will I be guaranteed a play session?
Yes, if you purchase a single session pass you will be guaranteed a slot for whatever date and time you selected.
